Master Mech Contest

  • Master Mech Contest (“Contest”) will be governed by the Terms and Conditions contained herein below (“T&C”). Each Mechanic agrees that he/she has read and understood the T&C by participating in the Contest and each Participant agrees to be bound by the T&C.
  • The Organizer of the Contest is “Bajaj Auto Ltd – India”.
  • “Mechanic” is defined as a person participating in the Contest.
  • “Portal” is an on-line registration for Mechanics registration
  • The Contest will be conducted in the following manner:

ON-LINE REGISTRATIONS ON “BAJAJ MASTER MECH” PORTAL.

  1. All Mechanics from Bajaj Exclusive and MFS can register their names for the contest through “Bajaj Master Mech Portal”.
  2. New Mechanic registration form and event dates will be published on Portal. The dates differ for different Cities/Town/ Countries.
  3. Mechanics may call on the contact no’s provided for respective country in case of any queries related to registration / registration process / event etc…
  4. On successful registration by Mechanic, a unique registration no will be generated.
  5. A registered Mechanic may log-in to the portal. For a registered mechanic the user ID is his registered mobile no and password is his unique registration no.

CITY / TOWN LEVEL(LEVEL 1) CONTEST:

  1. Level 1 contest dates will be published on Portal or will be communicated through SMS to the mechanics on their registered mobile no.
  2. A registered Mechanic has to enrol himself for the event in his city / town.
  3. Mechanics may enrol himself for the event in different city on prior approval from Bajaj Distributor / Admin.
  4. Shortlisted Mechanics for the event will receive SMS notification.
  5. Bajaj Auto / Distributor of Bajaj Auto reserves the right to select or reject the registered Mechanics on reasonable grounds.
  6. Rejected mechanics should not appear for the contest.
  7. Shortlisting of Mechanics will be purely based on Merits.
  8. Mechanics from respective Cities / Towns who stands first among the team of shortlisted Mechanics will be declared as a “Master Mech for City / Town”.   
  9. Only shortlisted Mechanics will qualify for the regional level contest (Level 2).

REGIONAL LEVEL (LEVEL 2) CONTEST:

  1. Level 2 contest dates will be published on Portal or will be communicated through SMS only to shortlisted Mechanics.
  2. Only Shortlisted Mechanics for the level-2 contest will receive SMS notification.
  3. Mechanics participating in the regional contest from different cities has to bear the Travelling cost. The cost of accommodation / local transfer & food is borne by Bajaj Distributor.
  4. Bajaj Auto / Distributor of Bajaj Auto reserves the right to select or reject the shortlisted Mechanics on reasonable grounds.
  5. Rejected mechanics should not appear for the regional level contest
  6. Shortlisting of the Mechanics will be purely based on Merits.
  7. Mechanics from respective regions who stands first among the team of shortlisted Mechanics will be declared as a “Master Mech for Region”.
  8. Only shortlisted Mechanics in regional level will qualify for national level contest (Level 3).

National LEVEL (Level 3 CONTEST):

  1. National Level contest dates will be published on Portal or will be communicated through SMS only to shortlisted Mechanics.
  2. Only Shortlisted Mechanics for the level-3 contest will receive SMS notification.
  3. Mechanics participating in national contest from different cities / regions has to bear the Travelling cost. The cost of accommodation / local transfer & food is borne by Bajaj Distributor.
  4. Bajaj Auto / Distributor of Bajaj Auto reserves the right to select or reject the shortlisted Mechanics on reasonable grounds.
  5. Rejected mechanics should not appear for the regional level contest
  6. Shortlisting of the Mechanics will be purely based on Merits.
  7. Top 3 Mechanics in National Level contest will be declared as:
  • Winner
  • 1st Runner-up
  • 2nd Runner-up

The Winner will be declared as “Master Mech for County”

Acceptance of the Terms & Conditions: by ticking on the check box in Master Mech portal, Mechanic accepts all “T&C” 

  1. Participation in the Contest is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Participants in the contest are deemed to follow all safety norms while they are in contest premise and while working on the vehicle during the contest. Bajaj Auto / Distributor of Bajaj Auto is not responsible of any accidents / incidents arising out of non-adherence to such safety norms.
  3. Participants who were declared as winners in the previous year contests (City, Regional, National & world level) are not eligible to participate in the Contest. But they can be the mentor’s / brand ambassadors for the contests.
  4. If the Winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions, the award / prize will be forfeited
  5. Any dispute with regard to the Bajaj Auto will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent Courts in Pune only.
  6. The participant shall not assign these T & C, or any rights, benefits or obligations hereunder without the express written permission of Bajaj Auto. Any attempted assignment that does not comply with these T & C shall be null and void. Bajaj Auto may assign these T & C, in whole or in part, to any third-party in its sole discretion.
  7. The T & C and other terms incorporated by reference, constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the participant and Bajaj Auto with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between the participant and Bajaj Auto with respect to such subject matter.
  8. Bajaj Auto reserves it right at all times to modify any part of these T & C at its sole discretion. The participant agrees to revisit the T & C regularly to ensure that they stay informed of any changes. The Participant’s use of the services after Bajaj Auto updates the T & C will constitute acceptance of the modified T & C.
  9. The failure of Bajaj Auto at any time to require observance or performance by the participant of any of the provisions of these T & C shall in no way affect Bajaj Auto’s right to require such observance of performance at any time thereafter, nor shall the waiver by Bajaj Auto of a breach of any provision hereof by the participant be taken or held to be a waiver of any succeeding breach of such provision. A waiver of any of the provisions herein by Bajaj Auto shall not be deemed to be a continuing waiver, but shall apply solely to the instances to which the waiver is directed.
  1. Each and every obligation under these T & C shall be treated as a separate obligation and shall be severally enforceable as such and in the event of any obligation or obligations being or becoming unenforceable in whole or in part. To the extent that any provision or provisions of these T & C are unenforceable, Bajaj Auto may amend such clauses as may be necessary to make the provision or provisions valid and effective. Notwithstanding the foregoing any provision which cannot be amended as may be necessary to make it valid and effective, may be deleted by Bajaj Auto from these T & C and any such deletion shall not affect the enforceability of the remainder of this these Terms.
  2. In the event of any dispute or difference between the participant and Bajaj Auto arising out or in any way relating these T & C, the same shall be referred to arbitration to be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by Bajaj Auto. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in Pune, in accordance with the provisions of Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996.
